The Augustinian Nuns In Bulacan

Since 1991, they have been present in the poor region of Bulacan, in the Philippines, with communities of contemplative life of the “Mother of Good Counsel” Monastery.

With the passage of time, their willingness to help others has made the nuns a valuable point of reference for the local inhabitants who regularly fill the Monastery church. In 2006, thanks to the generosity of many benefactors, the missionaries were able to build the Mother Alessandra Macajone Guest House to accommodate more and more people seeking help.

The community is committed to providing the many poor in the area medicine, food and clothes, as well as spiritual support. Every day is a step taken together with the local population towards a more dignified life and a future of hope.
