The association “ the Sun”,
a non-profit making association, was
created on October 12th 2002 in Cascia,
and it has the Augustinans as founder
members.
Aims of the Association are
the following:
a) Education and Management of oncological and non-oncological centers.
b) Development
of oncological prevention especially
sanitary through exhibitions, meetengs,
lectures, shows, seminars, travels,
films, sport, etc.
c) Publication of samples through press, radio, film and tv and through any other kind of mass media regarding oncological and sanitary topics.
d) Helping members having any oncological problems, both the individual and the community, in order to acquire knowledges in different areas.
e) According to the sanitary point of view: prevention, therapy, diagnosis, research, individual, familiar and social rehabilitation.
f) According to the social-cultural development: ideas, production, preparation and management of seminars, courses, meetings, as preventive, educational and rehabilitated purpose.
h) Pre-arrangement,
organization, management of learning
courses, qualification
and profesional up-dating for operators.
