Important and clear evidences about her activity as the Prioress of the Monastry testify the work she realized and the difficuties she faced, difficulties she overcame with feareless faith, with indomitable bravery, with well-balanced knowledge.

The Monastry became rapidly a strong place of the highest spirituality. Her body suffered a long and endless trial. The spirit withstood till her last days. She closed her eyes on earth and opened them to the eternal life on January 18th 1947.

The Convent, the “Alveare” and the New Shrine , these works done thanks to her help still preseve her Spirit as the “Mother” who animate and support them.

Her sacred body rested in the Inferior Basilica. Mother Mary Teresa Fasce has been solemny blessed on October 12th 1997 by His Sanctity John Paul the Second.
