The Logo

The logo of Augustinian Saint Rita of Cascia consists of a rose - symbol of Rita - inside a heart - symbol of the Augustinian Order.

The rose is the symbol of Rita par excellence: like the rose, Rita was able to flourish in spite of the thorns that life reserved for, donating the good perfume of Christ and melting the icy winter of many hearts.
The heart is the symbol of the Order of Saint Augustine. In Book IX of the Confessions,Augustine expresses himself this way: «You have hurt my heart with your love». These words express the love that Augustine had for God.

From the union of the rose of Rita with the Augustinian heart, a new figure is born, as rich and varied as the structure of the flower and the many aspects of the mission of the Community of the Sisters of Saint Rita can be.
